Herbs/tea tree oil
so I’ve been absent for a year. I decided its time to get some projects off the ground. there are some things that I allowed to distract me so my projects hit the rails so to speak. So I’ve decided to devote at least two hours minimum to get them going. I have all these ideas but never get them off the ground because I don’t devote the time necessary to get them going. One project I started research on but quit was starting a small herb business. so better late than never. I want to focus more on the medicinal herbs as opposed to eatable.
Writing a little bit about the tea tree oil because I suffer horrible sinus infections and I hate taking antibiotics for it. I stumbled across this accidently. I just recently started using tea tree oil to cleanse my face. I loved the product by Desert Essence for my skin. I noticed how it seemed to help open my sinus passages and reduce the inflammation. So what I started doing was holding a warm wet cloth over the bridge of my nose. I made it as warm as I could stand it and held it for a few minutes I then went over it with tea oil cleansing pads by Desert Essence. It does provide some relief. I may try it with some tea tree oil from the store but I need to figure out how to dilute it first. I don’t want to burn my skin.

Art Work
I’ve hardly done any art work this year or even last year…just what I’ve completed in shcool. the work I have done I’m not satisfied with it. I can’t seem to find my direction. Of course I haven’t exactly been looking for it lately. I see some common themes in my work but the things I’m doing now I’m not happy with. Which way do I go? I guess the way the economy is lately I wonder what is the point in even trying? Perhaps I should just focus on what I enjoy rather that what would work professionally. I look at today’s work and I am so uninspired. I did a painting for a charity and I haven’t sent it because I absolutely hate it. Its just crap. I was ready to send it off and then I just couldn’t send it……..
Herbs/Business
I’m trying to decide on a name for my herb business. I had thought about starting a 501c but I think it may be too much of a hassle. Instead I think I’ll have a portion of the proceeds go towards research on neurological disorders. I thought about trying medicinal herbs as oppose to edible herbs. I want a name but have been unable to think of one. I want something with my father’s name in it but his name was Ellis. My mother would call him by his nickname Sonny so I may use that instead. I’ll keep mulling it over. I will come up with something and continue to do some research on herbs I would like to grow. I think I will stick with medicinal…somehow that seems more appropriate
Focus on Web Design:MJA Media
I was perusing websites per my assignment and I stumbled across this website MJA Media. The color caught my attention at first. But the overall design I find to be simple and clean. MJA Media is a web design firm and I believe any potential client would be hooked by their impressive portfolio featured on their website. First, I liked the color palette that was used orange, white, and grey. The site is easy to navigate and although they use gifs for their navigation they offer text navigation bar at the bottom of the site for those who can’t see the images or have images turned off in their browser. I liked the overall design: clean and simple yet bright and eye catching colors. This combination made me want to explore their services and website further.
